Nature Therapy
Nature Therapy, also called Ecotherapy, is simply being out in Nature. Mother Nature is the therapist – our guide and teacher, showing us how to live and to be.
As a Nature therapist, life coach, NLP practitioner and trauma counsellor, I conduct one-on-one, group and family therapy sessions out in Nature.
Spending time in Nature reduces anger, fear, stress and anxiety, and increases feelings of calm, relaxation, inner peace, self-love and joy. Feeling accepted and part of something bigger strengthens our self-esteem, our confidence in our own worth and our sense of belonging, supporting us in dealing with loneliness, heartache and trauma. Feeling better emotionally contributes to our physical wellbeing too – lowering blood pressure, stress hormones, heart rate, muscle tension and promotes deeper breathing. Sigh!
This is why doctors around the world are giving patients “green prescriptions” to spend more time in Nature. And why practices such as Forest Bathing (Shinrin-Yoku in Japanese) and Grounding or Earthing are becoming so popular.
All coaching and therapy sessions are also done online.

Animal Wisdom
We receive messages from the animals telepathically and through consciously observing their essence and natural behaviour.
Sacred Geometric Patterns
Each animal’s markings and coats carry a unique vibration and sacred codes, enabling them to fulfil their unique purpose on Earth.
- This message about their markings was given to me by a Zebra:
Each animal holds a different frequency and a different sacred geometric pattern. That frequency and that pattern are very specifically designed and created because of what the animal is meant to do on Earth. Particularly in the early days, when we first chose to come to Earth, each one came with a very specific role, carrying a very specific energy, which was embodied in our patterns and in our markings. Each one fulfills a very important role. The patterns in our markings carry the exact frequency needed to enable us to fulfil that role.
Animals’ patterns and markings combine perfectly with whatever sound they make, with the two working together with sacred sounds and geometries.
Zebra Patterns
The Zebras have explained how their facial markings all join up at their third eye, constantly radiating their higher and spiritual wisdom out into the world – supporting, balancing and harmonizing polarities within the Earth and humanity – Black & white, yin & yang.
The sacred codes and patterns in their stripes emanate from the source, core strength and stability of their spine. Just like the spinal nerves carry messages back and forth, their stripes do so too. Some of the stripes look like and act as tuning forks, accentuating and spreading the vibration further, extending it all around and into the spinal column of the Earth. As within, so without.
A Zebra’s stripes are like a human’s fingerprints – unique to each one. Each stripe and pattern carries a unique signature and vibration. (Just like each colour carries a different vibration. Some blind people can identify and differentiate colours from their vibrations.) The patterning within the stripes therefore, makes up each Zebra’s unique essence – those markings being an especially strong symbol of that Zebra’s uniqueness.
Message from the Impala
“Walk gently on the Earth”
I love watching impala walk. They embody gentleness and walk the Earth so delicately, with such grace and presence. Their footprints even make hearts in the sand, touching hearts and leaving their loving essence wherever they go.
Message from the Bushbuck
Bushbuck are beautiful, light star beings. The patterns in their coats remind us that they, and we, come from the stars. Star patterns and alignments are reflected in the dots and lines of their markings. They hold that energy and so do we. They walk with such delicateness and precision, yet embody a youthful playfulness.
The Power of Nature
Principles used and expanded on throughout my programs …
- We suffer from a disconnection from the natural world, from fellow humans and from ourselves. Nature is a place of connection, restoring ourselves, and realigning us to the patterns and rhythms of the natural world and the Universe.
- We are remined of the interconnectedness of life – Re-establishing a reverence for all life through the reconnection
- Nature can transport us from separation to unity – to oneness
- Nature can return us to the happiness we are craving
- Nature just wants to support us. She is our Mother, nurturing the precious being that you are.
- Nature does not judge
- Nature does not let you down
- Nature does not hurry
- Nature gives the purest form of unconditional love
- All, and yet nothing, in Nature is perfect
- Everything in Nature is in their own power
- In Nature, every pathway we take, can be a pathway to peace
- In Nature, life emerges. It happens in cycles and spirals … ever growing and ever deepening …
- Consider being in Nature for the pure beauty and joy of it
- Where our true nature is reflected back to us – In Nature we remember who we are
- Where we are able to express our true essence
- Where inner noise quietens down
- Realising we are all just fellow human animals, dependent on this planet
- Realising we are custodians of the Earth
- Nature shares and shines the beauty of our planet all the time
- Nature exhibits the ultimate diversity. Each and every part of Nature has something to offer. Nature embraces all differences, and perfectly shows how all the differences work and blend together to create beauty. Each one is needed for optimal functionality.
- Nature is in a state of balance and equilibrium
- Nature works in cycles and embraces the opposites – light & dark, day & night, hot & cold, big & small etc.
- Nature serves as a sacred space – a church, a temple, and meditation space. She connects us to the temple of our own body.
- Nature displays and embraces our femininity and divine feminine aspects – allowing us to step outside of the masculine dominated world
- A place and space to discover new solutions to problems.
